Elliott Meisel is a founding partner of the firm, nationally recognized authority in cooperative and condominium law and heads its real estate practice. In addition to having converted many buildings to cooperative and condominium ownership and represented tenants associations in connection with their acquisitions of conversions sponsored by others, he represents numerous NY co-ops and condominiums in all aspects of their operations including financings, alterations, contract negotiations, development and implementation of policies and shareholder and owner relations. He also assists both individual and business clients in optimizing and implementing all aspects of their real estate ownership including their acquisition, financing, development, leasing and disposition, whether by sale, conversion or Section 1031 exchange.
